Dr. Ajay Amar, founder of Austin GMAT Review, holds a doctorate from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management.
Dr. Amar brings in-depth knowledge and experience from the corporate world as well as academia. A veteran of semiconductor industry, he is best known for leading his organizations with an integrated vision of strategic operations, optimizing product costs, and driving risk-benefit analytical thinking within the industry. Dr. Amar credits his education for his success in business and management.
Dr. Amar has a long-time commitment to academic excellence. In his early years at the University of California, he worked as teaching assistant to a renowned Nobel Laureate. He subsequently won Berkeley's prestigious Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor award.
A published researcher, Dr. Amar has taught and mentored students who have gone on to business schools, medical schools, and other graduate programs. His abiding belief in the value of a high-quality education is the foundation of our company.
Jennifer Rich’s commitment to academic excellence became evident in high school when she was named a National Merit Finalist and graduated first in a class of nearly five hundred.
Jennifer graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Tech with a BS in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Chemistry. As an undergraduate, she received the Dow Outstanding Junior in Chemical Engineering Award and an AlliedSignal scholarship for study abroad at University College, London. Having served as a member of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets, she was commissioned as a US Naval Officer upon graduation.
For four years, Jennifer served as Instructor, Division Director, and Command Training Evaluator at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command in Charleston, South Carolina. During this time, she personally instructed over 300 students in science and engineering principles fundamental to the design, operation, and maintenance of naval nuclear propulsion plants, receiving the designation of Master Training Specialist for outstanding instructional abilities.
After scoring 760 (99th percentile) on the GMAT and a 6.0 on the AWA, Jennifer proceeded with graduate work at Oklahoma State University, where she earned an MS in Management Information Systems and graduated with a GPA of 4.0.
Jennifer currently resides in the San Antonio area where she is pursuing advanced IT certification while helping our students excel on the GMAT.
